What are Wildfire Global teams?

KKi (King’s Kids International) have been involved in mobilizing children, teenagers and families into

short-term missions around the world for the last 25 years at least. In KKi England we call them WildFire Global missions teams.

Our passion is to see young people encounter God, go deep in their relationship with Him and put legs on their faith by putting it into action. WildFire Global teams create opportunities for this to happen; through hearing God’s voice and obeying Him, stepping out of comfort zones, serving others, laying down rights and building international friendships.

WildFire Global missions usually happen in the summer holidays. They start with a “Bootcamp” week of preparation, teaching, worship, team building, fun and cultural orientation. The mission phase then follows, usually for 1-2 weeks. Recent outreaches have been to Italy, South Africa and Spain.

Our staff/ participant ratio is around 1:3.

10-18 year olds can join in as participants, under 10s can come if mum or dad is on team. Each participant must complete an application form, with references from parents and a church leader, which we then prayerfully process.

Staff also complete a detailed application with references, and are required to have a CRB check.

From time to time we also provide outreach opportunities during the half-term holidays.
