About King’s Kids

“Generations living the Kingdom of God Together”

King’s Kids International began in 1976 in Hawaii under the leadership of Dale and Carol Kauffman. It is part of YWAM International. It is a vision to see families and 10-18 year olds globally come to know God and empowered to make Him known.

Since the late 70s, hundreds of teams have ministered throughout Asia, the Pacific, the Americas, Western and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East. KKI teams have reached out to serve the poor and have impacted the wealthy.

Teams have been involved at a wide variety of national and international events such as the World Cup Soccer Games in Spain in 1982; Various Olympic Games, (1992, 1996 and 2000); and festivals and gatherings all around the world.

King’s Kids, now called KKI bring a message of friendship, hope, love and joy. One of the most powerful aspects of KKI is seeing children and young people released in a natural way of praise and worship as a lifestyle. Every team has a focus on discipleship and gives participants opportunities to fulfill the Great Commission to, “go into all the world” with the good news about Jesus.

KKI staff teams currently exist in over 80 nations, engaged in a variety of ways to serve the family and local church as well reach the unreached.

Mobilize: Camps and outreaches mobilize Christian young people, giving them opportunities to share their faith with others and to participate in extending the Kingdom of God.

Disciple: Year round discipleship programmes help young people and families to strengthen their relationship with God and live in a way that brings joy to His heart.
Reach: A variety of clubs, youth activity centres and street-side church programmes share the love of God with children and teens who have little or no contact with a Christian witness.

Care: KKI mercy ministries around the world are involved in practically serving the needs of young people such as street kids, orphans, children with Aids, child soldiers and teen prostitutes.
